Mid-afternoon. Okay. Today has been a very good rest day. Poor Justin ate something yesterday (I don't think it was the shrimp - other people ate it and did okay) but he was up in the night trying to puke and had the runs all morning. He skipped breakfast. Micah, Eileen, Doc and I took a walk towards town just sight-seeing. We walked past a big seated Buddha - about 2 stories high and all painted gold. We looked through bunches of little shops with t-shirts and pasin lengths and silver jewelry and wrap-pants and fold-over tribal pants. All kinds of things. There were little Ahka kids running around trying to beg 5B for taking their picture. I asked one lady why they weren't in school -- she reminded me that it was Saturday....
